The anthology contains short stories by different authors, that take the reader into radically different worlds, but the overarching theme is – dragons.

Here you'll find both, classical texts and more contemporary interpretations on the theme by authors from XXI century. Legends filled with danger, as well as warm and cozy tales filled with wonder.

The tales will introduce ferocious beasts of Beowulf and Lord Dunsany, slightly funny creatures of Dianna Wynne Jones and Kenneth Graham, beautiful and mythical artifacts of Elizabeth Bear and Sarah Monette, cunning enemies glimpsed through the eyes of Ursula Le Guin and Tanith Lee.

“Dragon Tales” remind us that a Dragon is not just a mythical creatue, but a symbol of unfettered fantasy, that takes a new shape and meaning with each new story.
